ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF THE M.I.


The Monarchist Initiative, an alliance of citizens’ associations, held its annual assembly at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, on Saturday, 17 May 2008. The assembly was attended by the representatives of non-government, non-political and non-profitable organizations from Kuršumlija, Lozovik, Miloševac/Trnovča, Negotin, Novi Sad, Pančevo, Požarevac, Smederevo, Sombor and Belgrade.

The assembly elected the new members of the central and executive board, as well as the chairman and two vice-chairpersons.

The Central Board:

6. Petar Zdravković, Movement for the Restoration of Monarchy Zaječar
7. Milan Kočević, Monarchist Association of the Serbs Čačak
8. Tomislav Marković, Royal Society Lozovik
9. Goran Milanović, Serbian Royal Society Požarevac
10. Bora Milošević, Royal Society of Seribia Miloševac/Trnovče
11. Dragan Momčilović, Monarchist Movement of Surdulica
12. Dejan Nikić, Movement for the Restoration of Monarchy Negotin
13. Milorad Petković, Initiative for the Kingdom of Serbia Novi Sad

Gavrilo Došen was elected for the chairman of The Monarchist Initiative (second term).

The Monarchist Initiative continues its activities based on respect for all citizens, regardless of their ethnic and religious background or their political orientation, and confirms its deepest belief that the Kingdom, for Serbia and for all of its citizens is a better solution than the republic!
